Hey all!

After much thought to the current state of the server, the staff of The Storm has decided to take the server in a new direction.

We have been operating as a survival server for many years now, and we have seen periods of success although it's evident that it doesn't keep players, and is very hard to grow a player base out of, despite seeing periods of success we feel that a change is needed in order to both provide new challenge to myself, as well as make the server more accessible to others, and draw new players in.

Because of this, we will be shutting down our survival and creative servers this month, and will release our maps for anyone to download. Shortly after this, we will be opening a hub server as well as a unique game mode, with more to come in the future.

In addition to this, many areas of the forums will be cleaned up.

Premium ranks and other purchases will remain, although their effects will change.

I would be honored to help in any way possible with this new endeavor. Feel free to call upon me if you need anyone to help design different thematic and aesthetic aspects, with an emphasis on the design and layout of various structures such as the central hub and various maps and lobbies in other sections of the server. So I'm a little confused. Is it still going to be a survival server or is it going to be a minigame server or both?
 
Should anyone not staff just be redirected to the creative server until that's down?

Also it's whitelisted now because it's in developmental stages for the new hub and minigame additions.
